You can upload your own videos in MP4 format and images in JPEG or PNG format that are under 2MB.

How many video clips and images can I add to a project in the video editor?

Add as many as you want as long as your video isn't more than 5 minutes in length. You can add a mix of iStock video clips, images, or music clips including ones you've previously downloaded (see your download history), as well as your own uploaded videos and images, logos, music clips, and more.

Can I access the individual iStock video clips and images I used in my video project?

Yes. After you purchase and download your video project, the iStock video clips and images you use are automatically added to your download history.

What resolutions and file types can I choose to download my video project?

You can download your project as a MP4 video in Full HD: 1920 x 1080 or HD: 1280 x 720. You can also download as a photo or GIF.

Can I re-download my video project?

Yes. In the Downloaded section of Your Projects click Re-download and you'll be prompted to choose a size or format.

Will the video editor be available in other languages?

The video editor is currently available in English only, but more languages will be available soon.

Can I still use the video I created once my subscription expires?

Since all our videos are royalty-free, you're free to continue using your video in perpetuity, within the terms of the license agreement.
